Facts About the Initial Consultation
In your initial consultation, an Evans & Page attorney will provide you with practical advice and an analysis of your case.  For example, if you consult with us about a dangerous dog matter, we can provide you with the applicable law and advice that may enable you to represent yourself if you desire.  Other attorneys use “initial consultations” to decide whether they want you as a client, and not to provide you with any helpful advice.

Initial consultations last 1.5 hours and are availabe for a non-refundable fee; please contact us for the cost of your initial consultation. If you hire us to represent you, the initial consultation fee will be applied toward the fees and costs in your case.  Therefore, if you hire us your initial consultation is free.

Our ability to give you advice is dependant on knowing all the facts of your case.  Please be sure to bring/fax all documents that relate to your case.

Vicious/Dangerous Dog Hearing Information and Rates
Evans & Page are experts in handling dangerous dog hearings, and
post-hearing appeals.  If your dog was cited, or impounded, by animal control and you have concerns about your dog being labeled as “vicious” or “dangerous” you should schedule an initial consultation immediately.  As your legal representative, Evans & Page will negotiate with animal control and/or county counsel, lobby for your dog’s pre-hearing release, organize and retain the appropriate behaviorist to evaluate your dog, inspect your home and suggest changes to improve the chances of succeeding at the hearing, and submit legal briefs as necessary.  Evans & Page provides representation in all Bay Area counties.

If your dog has already been declared vicious/dangerous, we offer legal options to appeal the decision.  For more information, and to discuss your matter with an attorney, schedule an initial consultation

Evans & Page handles dangerous/vicious dog hearings on a flat rate basis.  The flat rate covers your legal fees from the day you hire us until the end of dangerous dog hearing.  The fee must be paid and a contract signed before we will begin work on your case.

Pro Bono Representation
Evans & Page does not offer pro bono legal representation.  Some law firms charge most of their clients high hourly rates and then they offer a small percentage of their clients representation for free.  Our office has chosen to represent all clients at a special low rate.
